Elementary Math

Our K-6 elementary math curriculum is aligned with the New York State Next Generation Learning Standards. We are dedicated to instructing students in the foundational mathematical skills and concepts needed for success in advanced mathematics in high school. The elementary curriculum is spiraled using the K-8 Mathematical Practices found in all grade level standards.

The core mathematics curriculum at the elementary level utilizes enVision 2020 as our primary resource. You can click here for an overview of the enVision 2020 structure. enVision provides a flexible instructional platform that includes both print and digital resources.

To support math fluency K-6 we have partnered with First in Math to scaffold the learning of math facts in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. This research based interactive online platform engages students in high interest mathematical games that support mastery of basic math concepts while having fun at the same time.
