The ESM Facilities department mission is to provide a well maintained, sustainable and secure educational environment to students, faculty and staff of the Eastport-South Manor Central School District. In order to fulfill this mission, the Department operates ESM five (5) schools and properties, which total approximately 675,000 GSF, according to federal, state, local regulatory agencies and professional association guidelines. The ESM Facilities team responsible for servicing these facilities and properties includes custodian head/leads, custodians, maintenance mechanics, groundkeepers and third party contractors.
The five (5) schools maintained and operated by ESM Facilities include:
- Dayton Avenue School: Constructed in 1978, Addition #1 in 2012
- Eastport Elementary School: Constructed in 1928, Addition #1 in 1964, Addition #2 in 2012
- South Street School: Constructed in 1928, Addition #1 in 1965, Addition #2 in 1973, Addition #3 in 2012
- Tuttle Avenue School: Constructed in 2013
- Junior-Senior High School: Constructed in 2002
