Work Requests - ESM Facilities

In order to request facilities-related assistance and/or to schedule a special event, ESM faculty and staff may submit a Work Order to ESM Facilities using the ML Work Order System. Work Orders are assigned to custodians, mechanics and/or groundskeepers depending on the nature and timing of the request. All requests for ESM Facilities-related assistance require submission of a Work Order into the ML Work Order System. ESM faculty and staff who submit a Work Order should expect the following estimated timelines for work orders to be completed:

Work Order Types – Estimated Completion Dates

  • Custodial: Estimated completion within 2-3 business days.
  • Temperature Adjustment Requests: Estimated completion within 1-2 business days.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Estimated completion within 2-4 weeks, depending on the request and availability of materials and labor. Facilities Maintenance requests that require design, engineering and/or third party vendor assistance may be referred to the 5-Year Plan, Capital Project and/or Energy Performance Contract.

Work Orders may be submitted by ESM faculty and staff via the ML Work Order System.
