District Superintendent Mr. Joseph A. Steimel, along with Board of Education President, Mr. Jeffrey Goldhammer, ESM trustees present and past, district office administration, coaches and players for the ESM junior high boys soccer team gathered for a ribbon-cutting celebration on Sept. 23, 2024. This ceremony signified the official opening of the new Dayton Avenue School multipurpose field and track.

The beautifully constructed field includes a turf surface, a rubberized track and bleachers. This stunning renovation is another completed part of the District’s Capital Project which began with the 2022, voter-approved Reimagine ESM Bond. This multipurpose field is now available to be used by our junior high school sports teams.
