The District congratulates students Alex Silbert, Logan Silbert and William Steinacher on an exceptional performance at the Long Island Science and Engineering Fair, held on March 13. The students endured four rounds of intensive judging and secured a fourth place win on their project, “Ballistic Barrage Against Beta Lactamases.”

LISEF is among the largest regional high school fairs in the country. It’s goal is to recognize secondary school students from Nassau and Suffolk counties who have the potential to become outstanding natural, physical and behavioral scientists, as well as engineers, mathematicians and computer scientists.

The district congratulates the students on this outstanding achievement.
