South Street School students immersed themselves in the study of fire safety, which culminated in with a visit from the Manorville Fire Department. 

The students first attended a puppet show, followed by a trip outside where they visited a smoke house, learned how to spray water with a fire hose and examined the equipment on the fire truck. Most importantly, students were confident that they would know what to do in case of a fire.
